International, 24, 33, 44, 53 etc. serie parts
The International Harvester Company was formed in 1902 through the merger of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and the Deering Harvester Company. With the introduction of the Farmall brand in 1924, the company sparked a revolution in agriculture. Under the Farmall name, International Harvester introduced a three-wheel row-crop tractor. These tractors were capable not only of ploughing but also of performing precise fieldwork. The company also produced several early models, including the International 24, 33, 44, and 53.
However, the company’s first major tractors were the 10-20 and 15-30 models. The earlier International 24, 33, 44, and 53 tractors, introduced around 1915, fall into this early development period. These initial tractors were mainly used as traction engines for pulling ploughs and powering belt-driven threshing machines.
The International 10-20 and 15-30 were marketed under the Mogul and Titan brand names. The International 24, 33, 44, and 53 models achieved mixed success but reflected the industry trend of the 1910s toward smaller and more affordable tractors.
