International, 24, 33, 44, 53

The International Harvester Company was formed in 1902 by a merger of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and the Deering Harvester Company. With the Farmall brand, the company revolutionized the agricultural industry in 1924. Under the Farmall brand, International introduced a three-wheeled tractor for row crops. These tractors were not only capable of plowing but also of precision work. The company also had a number of other early models including the International 24, 33, 44 and 53

However, the company's first important tractors were the 10-20 and 15-30 models. These early models which include the International 24, 33, 44 and 53, were introduced around 1915. This first series of tractors were used primarily as traction engines for pulling plows and for tire work on threshing machines. The International 10-20 and 15-30 were marketed under the Mogul and Titan brand names. The International 24, 33, 44 and 53 tractors had varying degrees of success but capitalized on the decade trend of "small" and "cheap."
