Ford 4000

The Ford 4000 tractor was produced in the United States from 1962 to 1975. In Higland Park, Michigan stood the Ford plant where this tractor was built. The factory is now inactive but this location has been used by Ford Motor Company since 2011 to store documents and to store artifacts for the Henry Ford Museum. The Ford 4000 tractor was originally designed as a utility tractor, for towing auxiliary equipment. Eventually, the tractor was also widely used in construction work such as trenching, dozing and crushing. The Ford 4000, contrary to what its name suggests, is the two second model of the 1000 series. The model is slightly larger than its predecessor, the Ford 2000, and slightly smaller than the next model, the 6000.

Ford 4600

The Ford 4600 is one of the models introduced in the 1970s. The 4600 is part of the Ford X600 series upgrade range of tractors. The Ford 4600 is equipped with a 62 hp (46 kW) engine as standard. A variant of the two-wheel drive tractor has also been released by the County brand. Founded in 1929, the County company was based in Fleet, Hampshire, England. They began by converting Ford trucks from two to three axles. They moved on to building tractors with four equal wheels based on Ford units, including the Ford 4600.
