Ferguson TE

Between 1946 and 1956, the Ferguson TE20 agricultural tractor was produced. The tractor was designed by its namesake Harry Ferguson and this was by far his most successful tractor design. The "Little Gray Fergie," as the Ferguson TE20 was also known, brought with it a major advance in tractor development. Whereas tractors were previously very large, the Ferguson TE20 distinguished itself by its low weight, small size and therefore maneuverability. The Ferguson TE20 used the hydraulic three-point hitch system, which soon became an international standard for tractors.

In many parts of the world, the Ferguson TE20 was the first tractor affordable to the average farmer to replace the draft horse and manual labor. To this day, many Ferguson TE20s are still used in agriculture. In addition, it has also become a popular collector's item for enthusiasts.

Ferguson came up with different variants. There is the Ferguson TED (a petrol-petrol tractor), the Ferguson TEF (a diesel tractor) and the Feguson TEA (a petrol tractor).
